Fifty Seven

It rained today
Nobody sat on the chairs
The Cyclops weren't happy

Fifty Six

My town in the Evening Light

Fifty Five

Do you remember Winter?
Do you remember the snow?
In their garden we played all day
Do you remember her sunny smile?

She'll be back
Sooner than we know

Fifty Four

The apple is a universal symbol for knowledge, and I think, looking at this picture, knowledge is hard to come to directly, you have to go through a bit of trouble before acquiring it (in this case, push away another branch). But, as with apples, once you've got it - it's delicious.

Fifty Three

It's a cliché
But we like to play
Please teach me the ways
of your world
And I'll show you mine
but it isn't yet time
So I'll wait here in the sun by the creek
enjoying the warmth on my feet
I love you

Fifty Two

Why?
Tell them that it's Human Nature
Why does he do me this way?
I like loving this way

Fifty !

Not that many days left until the 50th anniversary! A little and 200 days or so. Plus seven in April.

Forty Nine

I thought for sure that I had already posted these pictures, of some of the adorable but homeless cats and kittens that I met on Rhodes, Greece last time I was there, but turns out I hadn't. So you get them now instead. I only hope that these small things are still alive, and well.

What I found interesting about them is that the kittens in the last photo, siblings playing around, like any kids, are actually playing at the place of worship, on stones that's been there for hundreds upon hundreds of years. Isn't it pretty fascinating how we all just live on top of history?

Forty Eight

What can I say?
I don't want the world to stop
But I want us to stand still
I want us to stand still together

Forty Seven

If you want to be my lover,
first you have to be my friend
See it through,
but know that it will end

I write songs that are funny
and I write songs that are sad
I hope that in the long run I'll be pleased
with what I had

Keep me close and hug me now and then

Forty Four

The longing I feel for summer to come
is as strong in its power
as a waterfall, crushing down on rocks
And I want to fall freely now
racing with the shimmering fish
and push upon problems
I know the way out
just a few more steps
